2005 Smiling Dogs Shiraz Viognier -
Deep purple with crimson highlights, the 2005 Shiraz Viognier exhibits aromas of violets and black berries. This full-bodied wine has a lingering mouth feel of white peppers and warm summer berries with the additional 6% Viognier giving a lift of five spice characters to the centre of the palate.

2007 Chardonnay
The 2007 vintage was unusually warm and early. As a result the Chardonnay is in the riper flavour spectrum displaying an aroma of ripe peach, stone fruit and orange rind with a slight apricot and biscuity note. It is a big ripe style of wine with lots of ripe peach and fig flavours. The palate is viscous and toasty with some creamy flavours and subtle oak. It is rich and textural with crisp acidity and a long slightly honeyed aftertaste.

2004 Shiraz Grenache Mouvedre (SGM)
The Shiraz, Grenache and Mouvedre grapes in this wine were co-fermented to produce the spicy characters distinctive of this blend. In the glass the wine is ruby red with deep purple hightlights. The palate is a mouth-filling explosion of summer berries, mixed herbs and 'Chinese Five Spice'. The wine will gain complexity over the next 3 - 5 years, but its soft tannins enable it to be enjoyed when young.

2005 "Valmai" Zinfandel
The Zinfandel displays the dried mixed fruit and “Christmas Cake” characters typical of the variety. The wine is deep crimson with purple highlights. The aroma suggests a rich fruit mince pie filling with a hint of perfumed dried fruits. The nose is complimented by a warm palate of stewed summer fruits with a lingering dark chocolate and sweet liquorice finish.

2004 Cabernet Merlot Petit Verdot
This wine was made from estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes. The wine has a deep purple colour with bright crimson hues and aromas of mixed berries and black cherries. The palate is soft and long with the sweet summer fruits balanced by the natural acidity of the Petit Verdot. The wine is ready to enjoy now but will cellar for at least 5 years.
